PR/Marketing (Outreach) Committee
Assists the staff in distributing promotional flyers and material to local businesses and libraries; assists with other periodic marketing efforts

Human Resources Committee
Oversees Human Resources matters, including job postings, position descriptions, staff performance evaluations, determinations regarding employee compensation, and Human Resources policies; provides guidance to the Board regarding the Board of Trustees Governance Manual and the Employee Handbook

Fundraising Committee
Assists with outreach to donors and sponsors; helps develop and manage fundraising efforts and events

Likely Stories or Hamingson Committee
Assists in planning and administering Likely Stories (live event with actors reading short stories) or Hamingson lecture (Columbia HS alumnus delivers presentation for current CHS students). These events occur every other year. Trustees who are on these committees must also be on at least one additional committee.

Trustees Board meetings are usually held in-person, and are scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month from 7:15 pm to approximately 8:45 pm from September to December, and from February to June. Are you available for meetings during these times?
